At the beginning of the 1960s Paoli Wieser and Hilda Pizzinini, decided to build their own hotel naming it "Ciasa Salares". Values such as home-like felling, hospitality and familiarity are closely linked to the territory. Salares comes from the word "salt" and refers to the salt containers which were given to animals.

Last spring our “Ciasa”, (home), underwent massive refurbishment works, yet upon examination, lots of guests asked whether anything had really been done! The whole project was conceived as a kind of exclusive one, in line with what already existed and grounded in high quality. This complies with your, our guest’s, wishes of comfort and genuineness. No ostensive display of luxury, yet pure hospitality and sincere warmth.
